E Bulletin from Contact

The following message was attached to the e-bulletin…….

The schools are winding down for the long summer holiday.   Are you looking forward to a break or do the long summer holidays add to the pressure.  In this e bulletin we suggest  lots of inclusive family fun with relaxed theatre shows, cinema and family days out which might help to make the holidays more enjoyable. We also highlight some activities for special needs young people and flag up some free activities for carers.
You also get a sneak preview of our Autumn programme of free workshops.  Is Accessing public services an issue for you?   Are you concerned about school transport for your special needs child or young person?   Let us know if you would like to book a space on either of these workshops.
Finally, In this issue we also ask you to get in touch (westmids.office@contact.org.uk) if you would like to raise funds to support Contact’s work in the Midlands.   Or, let us know if you have a venue (to hold 30-35 people) which you can offer free to Contact for occasional training sessions.  We run lots of free workshops and are asked to run a lot more but the cost of venues is a constraint.  If you can help out, we would love to hear from you.
